Selecting text at firefox

It's been a headache for many months that when you try to select something in firefox it only seen space as a white space. Coders can understand what i mean.
there is an option called layout.word_select.stop_at_punctuation which is true for windows versions but for linux versions it is off. Just go to about:config to free your self about selection.
